Message I'm actually having this same issue. I did like ztunerz recommended and pinched the return line, holds pressure fine. Put a check valve after the fuel filter, no change. Pulled the pump to look for rotted hoses or something else in there, pump was pristine. I'm also not getting any gas smells so I'm almost certain there is no fuel leaking out into the atmosphere.

I even tried deleting the dampener temporarily, again no change outside making the car idle crazy, I still lost pressure.

I'm down to the FPR. Mine is new, but who knows. I literally don't have another part of the fuel system that I've not verified is ok. If it was at the rails or injectors clamping the return would not fix the problem.

Take that for what it's worth, but I'm betting in my case it's the FPR. Have a new one coming in in day or two, I can report back if it solves the issue.
